Martin is an accomplished youth leader and global advocate for meaningful youth engagement. Prior to starting Sollys Energy, he was a Youth Researcher and Global Youth Delegate with the Mastercard Foundation Youth Think Tank, focusing on entrepreneurship and meaningful work for young people. He has been featured by global development agencies such as Restless Development, DFID UK and the United Nations ECOSOC.

He is recognized as one of Africa’s upcoming youth leaders in renewable energy, and was selected to be part of the first-ever Youth Forum hosted by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) in Abu Dhabi in January 2020.
